The Atlanta Thrashers re-signed Kari Lehtonen on Wednesday, the NHL team’s career leader among goalies in games played, wins and shutouts.

Terms of the deal for the restricted free agent were not disclosed.

The 25-year-old Lehtonen went 19-3-22 last season with three shutouts, and a 3.06 goals-against average in 46 games. Lehtonen was selected by the Thrashers with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2002 draft.
