The San Jose Sharks re-signed restricted free agent forward Ryane Clowe to a four-year contract Monday, locking up a player for the immediate future who’s coming off a career season.

The 26-year-old Clowe recorded career bests of 22 goals, 30 assists and 52 points this season and led the Sharks during their first-round playoff loss to the Anaheim Ducks. A Sharks’ sixth-round draft pick in 2001, he missed most of the 2007-08 campaign with a knee injury.Original post by WP-AutoBlog Import
